OverviewMissions Internship Year Teams are made up of young adults who commit a year of their lives to outreach work in areas around Africa and abroad. The year begins with three months of intensive training (January to March) in Johannesburg in the areas of personal development, practical skills and theological studies. During training, the young adults are placed on self-sustaining teams of 4-5 members each, which are sent to work under the guidance of experienced missionaries in a variety of locations for the remainder of the year. Team life involves a one-year commitment and is designed for young people with a passion to serve God and make a difference in the lives of others.
