Making Connections
Posted by 3D-Outreach on 30 January 2009In the past, we have mentioned the importance that 3D-Outreach places on face-to-face contact with other organisations, missionaries and pastors from different churches both within and across borders. Last year, we had the privilege of meeting with people throughout South and southern Africa, including Kwazulu Natal, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and around the world.
In August, 3D-Outreach made the second of two trips to the United States in 2008. Our first visit had been such a success in terms of connecting with churches and ministries that we felt it important to return to continue what God had begun. Once again, our time in the States was packed full of meetings and travel from state to state, but the contacts which were made while we were there as well as the hospitality we received were amazing. We so appreciated the opportunity to share the vision that God has put on our hearts as well as the chance to reconnect with those we encountered on our previous visit.
Most recently, we were able to travel to the Western Cape where we took part in a missions week for a King of Kings Church as well as the annual WENSA (World Evangelisation Network of South Africa) conference in Worcester. It was a busy, but exciting time as organisations and churches got together to envision what God wants to do in and through them in the area of missions.
We are so grateful to God for the protection He provided for us during our many travels in 2008 as well as for the many divine appointments He initiated. We greatly look forward to where God wants to take these relationships in the future and to see what partnerships develop as a result. We look forward to many more exciting opportunities in 2009 to revist places in southern Africa as well as to spread our wings further and extend to even more new areas.
