Vital Networking

Posted by 3D-Outreach on 11 October 2010

The nature of 3D-Outreach calls for networking to be an integral part in ensuring the success of our ministry. Due to this, we aim to participate in major mission conferences as well as arrange networking trips in various parts of the country and abroad. This year has presented us with some wonderful opportunities to meet new people, make new contacts and build on existing relationships. We’ve chosen some of the major networking events from this year to share with you:

In May we visited Cape town for the purpose of training the students of Cornerstone Christian College and networking with a diversity of churches and organisations. We were able to meet people who are doing incredible ministry in the missions world as well as offering the services of 3D-Outreach. We did numerous presentations for colleges, churches, prayer groups and individuals. We were also fortunate enough to be invited to Radio Helderberg and 1Africa Christian Radio Station for an interview about 3D-Outreach.

Operation Mobilisation hosts a missions conference in Kabwe, Zambia every year. We were very excited to have the opportunity to put up a display stand at the conference. There were many missionaries and local pastors who attended the conference, thus creating a platform for us to share the vision of 3D-Outreach. We look forward to the ministry that will come through the relationships we built at the conference.

A church group in Natal asked us to assist them with the organising and training for a short term outreach into Africa. After our time with them, we met with several other groups and local pastors in order to expand our partnerships in the province. We were often overwhelmed by the ways in which God is working and the divine appointments that He arranged for us. It is extremely encouraging to see the passion with which people are serving their communities.

The Baptist Union of Southern Africa holds a yearly assembly for all their pastors and missionaries. We set up a display stand at their conference and had great interest from the attendees. Many people were interested in getting more involved in missions as well as motivating their churches into missions. It was wonderful to meet so many of the “movers and shakers” in Christian ministry.
