From the Other Side

It is always a blessing to hear the testimonies of those who have been involved in what we do. We have been able to record some of their comments and thought that they would be blessing to you too.

A while back we wrote of the missionary family that are based in Mozambique. At the time of the story, they were stranded in South Africa without accommodation or transport. The actual purpose of their rushed visit to SA was to have an emergency Caesarian. A year later, they sent us the following email – “Just celebrating a one year birthday this 31st of March. We remember fondly how you made your way in about midnight to talk to the doctor and Dierdre [missionary wife] and how you picked us up at the airport and found us cars and a place to stay”.

Donations of any kind are always a blessing to us, so that we in turn can bless others. Amongst our recent donations were 1000s of Christian cd’s and dvd’s ranging from children to adults. Amongst the dvd’s, were special skater videos. We were able to donate these to Sonskate for their ministry, and here is their comment – “An awesome blessing and ministry tool. Through God’s perfect timing we received the DVD’s just before our National Conference where we had over 60 people attend and were able to distribute some of the DVD’s to them for use within their clubs (Bible study group) and for outreach events. In addition we have given others out as prizes for skate comps we hold so the winning riders will each receive a skaters bible and the ‘WORD’ DVD. It has been such an awesome blessing and we look forward to seeing the potential for kingdom growth through them”.

Trans World Radio (TWR) have been extending their SA offices, and asked if 3D could assist them with a plumbing consultant. God had the perfect person for the job in Stephen who was a plumber and then became a building inspector. 3D contacted Stephen who has since been on the TWR site, giving advice and will be there to inspect the project as it progresses, ultimately to sign it off once it is complete. Stephen is a committed Christian and he remarked, “I am so happy to be able to use my trade to serve the Lord. TWR does a wonderful work in spreading the gospel and winning souls, and I am glad to have played a part in it.” Stephen has the right spirit and because of this opportunity, he is blessed and God’s work at TWR has been helped. All praise be to God.

It is always amazing how people get connected. Daniel is one such person – an American, working in Zimbabwe, that came to SA to sort some logistics, and who linked up with us through a mutual friend. During his time in SA, he made himself available to serve in whatever capacity. Apart from us appreciating Daniel’s hard work and servant heart, it seemed that we were able to play a role in his life as well – “I want to express again my thanks for all you did for me on my last visit, you made my stay in Joburg quite a pleasure”.

4 simple visits in the last while, that God has made divine! We look forward to more Lord…
