2013 Intern team

Posted by 3D-Outreach on 20 February 2013

On the 2nd of February, 3 young people started a new adventure at 3D-Outreach. Find out what brought them here and what they are expecting from this year.

ChantelChantel Hes:

Hi my name is Chantel Hes. I am 19 years old. I was brought up in Edenvale and went to the School of Achievement and I go to Edenvale Baptist. My favourite thing to do is bake.  What inspired me to come to 3D-Outreach are the missions families that are in Edenvale Baptist. I heard about 3D-Outreach on Summer Camp 2011. It took me a few months to decide that this is what I am doing after school. My expectations of this year are to grow in God and learn new things and let the year be a whole new adventure and serve in every possible way.

NathanNathan Reyneke:

Hi my name is Nathan Stephen Reyneke and I am an intern at 3D-Outreach for 2013. I am 18 years old and I love music. I have a passion for playing music. I play the drums, guitar, didjeridoo and a few others.

Some of my expectations for this year are: to grow mentally in independence and maturity. To grow spiritually in prayer and in personal devotions. I also want to gro physically in fitness. I also completely entrust God with my entire life, and whatever he says goes and that feeling of having peace with that decision is unbelievably fulfilling.

I have always had a relationship with Christ but I have no idea as to what extent that relationship could grow! Remembering John 15:5 always!

ShellyShelly Hodgson:

Hi my name is Shelly Hodgson. I am 18 years old and I come from Uniondale which is situated in the Eastern Cape. I grew up on a farm and I love animals and horse riding. I am very outgoing and really brave. I joined 3D-Outreach because I have always wanted to help others and serve the Lord. When I saw their advert in the Joy magazine I knew it was perfect for me. I am hoping to gain confidence out of this year and to grow closer to God. I would also like to gain more patience and feel that I have done something good.
