Welcome Nathan!
Posted by 3D-Outreach on 5 February 2015For those of you who do not know me, my name is Nathan Reyneke and for the past few years I have been an intern at 3D-Outreach. Since the start of my internship I have always felt a strong call to ministry by God as I have no greater passion than sharing the gospel and making disciples of Christ. So God has continued my calling and now I have taken on a new role here at 3D-Outreach -a staff role.
“Missionary co-ordinator and care” means that it is now my job to make sure that 3D-Outreach has a healthy relationship with missionaries, by caring for them, in the hopes that these things will be as much of a blessing to them as they are to us.
Being on staff certainly has an interesting vibe that comes with it. I have to constantly remind myself that I am now allowed to venture into parts of the workplace where I was never allowed before. It’s also often strange to watch the interns do things that I usually would have been doing, like cooking and cleaning.
There is a great joy and excitement that comes with the thought of my staff role, as I love to be in the field joining hands and working alongside missionaries. I trust that the Lord will guide me through it and continue to teach me things about him.
